How it works

Joining our footy tipping comp is simple! First, register your interest so we can set you up and add your team name. If you’re comfortable, you can join our WhatsApp group where we share reminders, weekly standings, and friendly banter. Each round, you’ll submit your tips through this webpage, with a reminder sent before every game week.

Easy, fun, and open to everyone!

  • If you're interested in joining our footy tipping comp, please email james@mypitcrew.org.au.
    If you're comfortable, we’ll also add you to our tipping WhatsApp group for updates and banter throughout the season.

    When you email, feel free to include your team name. You're welcome to keep it anonymous, as everyone in the comp will see it when the weekly standings go out.

  • If you’re comfortable, we’ll add you to our footy tipping WhatsApp group. This is where we share weekly updates, reminders, ladder standings, and a bit of friendly banter throughout the season.

    To keep the group fun and inclusive for everyone, please follow these simple guidelines:

    • Keep it friendly: Light-hearted chat is welcome. Just keep things respectful.

    • No personal info: Avoid sharing anything private about yourself or others.

    • Stay on topic: Footy chat, tipping updates, and general banter only.

    • No spam: Please don’t send long message chains or lots of repeated posts.

    Once you’re added, you’re good to go for the season!

  • You can submit your tips each week through this webpage (the rounds are listed below). I’ll also send out a reminder in the WhatsApp group before every round so no one forgets.

    You only need to submit tips for the current round. There’s no need to tip ahead unless you want to. Once your tips are submitted, you’re all set for that week!

  • Winning is great, but having fun matters more. Keep the competitive spirit light. Let’s not get too carried away!

Whats on the line?!

1st place

The winner of the tipping competition will win a $50 voucher, their name etched into the MPC tipping masters shield and a winners medal. Not to mention bragging rights over their competitors.

2nd place

The runner-up for tipping competition will be awarded a Yeti coffee mug as well as a medal.

3rd place

Third place will receive a medal to acknowledge their podium finish.
